Fruit Council Rules (production and Marketing – Fruit Cultivation Settlement) -1975

This Document, of eight Sections, gives definitions and makes provisions for Planting Quotas regarding fruit cultivations in Israel. Section (1) gives definitions. Section (2) prohibits the cultivation of any plant reproduction material unless within the limits of a personal planting Quota. The limit for domestic planting purposes is of Five trees per species and not more than a total of 20 trees. Section (3) provides with Personal Planting Quota requests procedures. Section (4) prohibits the passing of a Personal Planting Quota to another unless authorized by the board. In case of plantation selling, the board shall authorize the passing to the acquirer. Section (5) establishes Personal Planting Quota validity. Validity shall be of 12 months and can be renewed for other 12 months. Sections (6) to (8) give general information regarding this document.
