Abstract
This Law provides for the establishement by the Government of an "Israel Lands Administration" to administer Israel lands. The Director of the Administation is appointed by the Government, whom shall be directly subordinate to the Minister of Agriculture (sect. 2). Under section 3, an "Israel Lands Council" is also appointed by the Government in order to lay down the lands policy. The Administration shall act in accordance with it and the Council shall also supervise the activities of the Administration. Under section 5, the "State Property Law" 1951, is amended. Section 6 establishes the amendment of the Development Authority (Transfer of Property) Law 1950. According to section 7 the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Agriculture jointly are charged with the implementation of this Law and may make regulations as for the implementation of it.
