Abstract
This Bylaw is centred on the basic prohibition to discharge industrial waste into sewage systems, unless with a permit or in a manner which does not cause damage to the sewage system, or which does not constitute a public nuisance. Permits are granted if the conditions set out in the Annex are satisfied. The latter lists the substances which are not considered industrial waste. An occupier of a plant requiring a permit shall pay the local authority a fee.
