Abstract
These Regulations, of Ten Sections, establish conditions and make provisions for the regulation of air quality in Israel. this document prohibits driving a vehicle unless vehicle meets the technological standards detailed in the regulations. Three definitions of unreasonable air pollution from a vehicle are provided. This document specifies the testing methods and the mandatory equipment for conducting tests that determine these values. In case of the carbon monoxide content and the light exposure value, these are stipulated in Directive 96/69/EC of the European Council. The tests are conducted by an authorized vehicle tester as defined in the Transport Ordinance or by an inspector authorized by the Minister of the Environment.
