Plant Protection Regulation ( Cleaning of Avocado Containers and Transportation vehicles)-1984

This Regulation gives definitions and makes provisions for the cleaning of avocado containers and transportation vehicles. A container coming from a plantation will be placed only upon a raised surface, in the way to have at least 10 cm from the soil surface. Avocado containers and vehicles must be soil free before entering a packing house. The vehicle wheels shall be disinfected at the entrance of any packing house by passing thru a rinsing pool. Every container shall be disinfected immediately after avocados have taken out with a fungicide authorized by Plant Protection Department.
