Abstract
These Regulations, composed of 11 sections, give definitions and make provisions for the regulation of egg marketing in Israel. Section 1 gives definitions. Section 2 prohibits from a person to put on market or to make use of Eggs for the production of food unless the Egg is an Edible Egg according to these regulations. Section 3 lists the parameters for classifying edible eggs. Sections 4-6 deal with packaging issues. Section 7 provides labelling procedures. Section 8 regards storage issues. Section 9 establishes temperature conditions for transportation and marketing. Sections 10 and 11 regard entry into force powers.
