Abstract
This Regulation, of 21 Sections and Six Annexes, gives definitions and makes provisions for the selling of Seeds in Israel. Section (1) gives definitions. Section (2) regards quality standards for field cultivations seeds as detailed in Annex Four. Section (3) regards quality standards for vegetable cultivations seeds as detailed in Annex Five. Section (4) regards quality standards for floriculture cultivations seeds as detailed in Annex Six. Section (5) regards selling conditions for field cultivations seeds as detailed in Annex Four. Sections (6) and (7) regard selling conditions for vegetable cultivations seeds as detailed in Annex Five. Section (8) regards selling conditions for floriculture cultivations seeds as detailed in Annex Six. Section (9) provides with labelling procedures for field cultivations seeds. Sections (10) and (11) provide with labelling procedures for vegetable cultivations seeds. Section (12) provides with labelling procedures for floriculture cultivations seeds. Sections (13) to (15) regard general labelling procedures. Section (16) and (17) deal with official laboratory tests that can be requested by the seeds holder or upon inspection on sight. Section (18) prohibits the selling of the listed species’ seeds unless seeds are “Certified Seeds”. Section (19) provides with levy and inspection expenses procedures. Sections (20) and (21) give general information. Annexes One to Three are related to the definitions Section and report detailed procedures regarding sample taking (Annex One), Weeds (Annex Two) and Pest Weeds (Annex Three).
