Abstract
This Act makes an amendment to the definition of “territorial waters” as given in the Interpretation Act. Wherever it is said in any law that a part of the open sea adjoining the coast of the State is included in the territory of the State or that any law or a power under any law applies to such part, and that the extent of that part is not fixed or fixed at less than 12 nautical miles from the low-water mark or from some other point on the coast, such extent shall be twelve nautical miles as aforesaid.
