Abstract
This Document, of Seven Sections and One Annex, gives definitions and makes provisions for the levies to be paid to the Board for the cultivation of vegetables in Israel. Section (1) gives definitions. Section (2) declares that a farmer is obliged to pay a levy to the Board for vegetables that he delivered for marketing or industrial processing purposes. The levy shall be set according to amounts listed in Annex One. Section (3) establishes Levy collection by deduction procedures. A marketing agent or an industrialist that have received vegetables from a farmer shall deduct the levy amount from the farmers compensation and shall deliver the total levy amount , deducted from other farmers, to the Board within the 15 of each month including a report of all transitions. Section (4) regards registration and reporting procedures. Section (5) regards farmers that have marketed their cultivation directly to the consumer, in that case the farmer shall pay the levy directly to the Board.. Sections (6) and (7) give general information. Annex One has been omitted.
