Abstract
This Document, of 17 Sections, makes provisions and establishes conditions for vegetable registration and transportation procedures in Israel. Section (1) prohibits the transportation of vegetables unless by permit issued by the Vegetable Production and Marketing Board. Section (2) regards Delivery Forms and procedures. The board shall issue booklets for delivery form purposes. The board may issue a Growers Card reporting the growers name, ID number, place of residency and validity of the card. Section (3) and (4) provides For Marketing Agents and Growers registration procedures. An agent shall imprint his name and place of work on the delivery modules issued by the Board and shall send the modules to the growers. The grower shall use his Growers Card to compile the Delivery modules for any shipment or delivery of vegetables. Section (5) and (6) regard transporters obligations. The transportation of vegetables is prohibited unless a delivery module is compiled and signed by the growers and the transporters. Transporters shall always carry with them their transporters permit. Section (7) establishes that the transporters shall give the first two copies of the delivery module to the receiver and the third copy at gate of the general market. Section (8) and (9) provide for the returning of the booklets from the grower to the marketing agents. And set the keeping period for copies of delivery modules to One year. Section (10) provides for Board powers. Section (11) and (12) establish registry and reporting procedures. A marketing agent or an industrialist must run a register, in two copies, with all transactions reported. Section (12a) regards retail marketing procedures. A retail seller shall buy vegetables only from wholesale marketing agent. A selling coupon shall be given to the retail seller by the wholesaler. Section (13) provides for the proper compilation of the various modules and delivery forms. Sections (14) to (17) give general information.
