Abstract
These Regulations, of three Chapters and 19 sections, make provisions and establish procedures for the calculations of Water Costs in Israel. Chapter A gives definitions and establishes main directives for water costs calculation. Water costs shall be based upon three groups of variables; water origin costs, investments and efficiency and maximisation. Section 4 regards separate water cost calculations for industrial zones or special zones. Section 5 provides with payment periods. Chapter B establishes conditions for the calculation of water cost for each group variable. Chapter C regards general indications; section 17 gives powers to the Water Governor to establish criteria for special costs and exemptions. Section 18 establishes that the costs to be calculated with these regulations shall be applied to all water produced in Israel.
