Agreement between the Government of India and the Government of Nepal for the Developement of Irrigaton, Drinking Water Supply and Power, 1959.

This Agreement between India and Nepal is about cooperation in the field of water projects, and more specifically irrigation and (drinking) water supply works in Nepal. This Agreement is in addition and does not derogate from a similar Agreement of 1954. Works under that Agreement shall continue but will now be entrusted to the Canals and Drinking Water Supply Development Board established by Nepal. The Head of the Indian Aid Mission shall act as an advisor to the Board.
