Abstract
This Agreement between Nepal and India is about the construction and maintenance by the respective Parties of canal and irrigation works on the border of Nepal and India and relative rights and obligations of the Parties. Water shall be used for irrigation and hydropower. The Agreement also defines and protects Nepal's riparian rights in respect of the Gandak river.
