Abstract
This Act amends sections 2, 4 and 6 of the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non-Agricultural Purposes) Act, 2006. The conversion tax for non-agricultural purposes levied under section 4 is increased from 3% to 5% of the basic value of the land. The penalty under section 6 is increased from 50% to 100% over and above the conversion tax.
