Andhra Pradesh State Aquaculture Development Authority Act, 2020 Act (No. 29 of 2020).

This Act is enacted for the establishment and constitution of the Aquaculture Development Authority.
Section 5 provides for the powers of the Authority, including: to develop aquaculture in the state of Andhra Pradesh, with a view to increasing production, productivity, sustainability and profitability; to attract investments to promote aquaculture based establishments and industries; to monitor, regulate and promote the production, distribution and sales of all aquaculture inputs; to certify and promote all aquaculture inputs like seed, feed, feed ingredients; etc.
The Act further makes provisions, inter alia, for: fund of the Authority, aquaculture controller and inspector, licensing authority, regulation of aquaculture and aquaculture business by the authority, classification of aquaculture and aquaculture business, offences and penalties.
