Assam Farmers (Group Irrigation) (Repealing) Act, 2022 (Assam Act No. IX of 2023).

This Act repeals the Assam Farmers (Group Irrigation) Act, 1978. Notwithstanding such repeal of the Act, anything already done or action taken or any right, title, obligation, or liability already acquired, accrued, or incurred or any remedy or proceeding in respect of any such right, title, obligation, or liability or penalty, claim or demand etc. already enforced under the Act, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the repealed Act.
