Bio-Medical Waste Management (Amendment) Rules, 2018.

These Rules amend the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 (principal Rules). Clauses (c), (e) and (f) of sub-rule (2) of Rule 2 are amended to replace the various Rules mentioned therein. In Rule 4 of the principal Rules relating to duties of occupier, clauses (c), (d), (i) and (p) are amended. Rule 5 is amended and clause (8) of Rule 7 relating to treatment and disposal of plastics is amended. Rule 13 of the principal Rules is amended. Schedules I, II and III are also amended. A new form IV A is added.
