Abstract
These Regulations are made by the Coastal Aquaculture Authority (Authority) in exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Coastal Aquaculture Authority Act, 2005. They contain provisions relating to the meetings of the Authority, method of recruitment, qualifications, etc., for employees of the Authority and appointment of advisors or consultants. The Regulations provide for the timelines for disposal of applications by the District and State level committees for setting up or for renewal of coastal aquaculture farms. They also lay down the institutions and laboratories recognized and approved for testing of samples and analysis.
