Abstract
The Act, consisting of 125 sections divided into fourteen Chapters and one Schedule, provides for the better regulation of marketing of agricultural produce and the establishment of markets for agricultural produce in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The Government may, by Notification, published in the official Gazette, and such other manner as may be prescribed, declare its intention of regulating the marketing of such agricultural produce, and in such area, as may specified in the notification. In addition, it shall establish a Board, known as the Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board, entitled to exercise superintendence and control over the marketing committees.
