Abstract
This Act repeals the following Acts: 1. Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020 (Act No. 20 of 2020); 2. the Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020 (Act No. 21 of 2020); and 3. the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020 (Act No. 22 of 2020). Further, it amends the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (Act No. 10 of 1955) by omitting sub-section (1A) of section 3 of the said Act.
