Abstract
This Act seeks to implement the Glanders and Farcy Act, 1899 in the State of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, this Act inserts a new provision granting the State government the power to vaccinate and regulate the movement of horses, for the purpose of preventing the outbreak or spread of all or any of the diseases specified in a notification under section 2.
