Abstract
These Rules amend the Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2008.
Amendments include: the insertion of new provisions in rule 16 sub-rule (5) and (6A) on procedures for the import of hazardous waste; minor changes to rule 18, sub-rule (5); minor substitutions in Schedule 3, part B; minor changes in Form 3; and the substitution of Form 9 with a new Form and its related entries.
