Inland Waterways Authority of India (Amendment) Act, 2001 (Act No. 40 of 2001).

This Act amends the Inland Waterways Authority of India Act, 1985.
Amendments shall include: substitution of sub-section (3) of section 3 with a new sub-section on the members of the Authority; insertion of a new section 4A dealing with the disqualification for appointment as member; insertion of a new section 5A on meetings of the Authority; minor changes to section 14; insertion of a new section 18A dealing with borrowing powers of the Authority; and minor changes to section 35.
