Abstract
These Regulations make provisions for licences and permits for the use of foreign fishing vessels for fishing in the maritime zones of India. Maritime zones are defined by The Maritime Zones Act of 1976. The remaining provisions specify terms and conditions for obtaining licences and/or permits and conditions which apply to the carrying out of fishing activities with regard to payment of fees, size, type of fish which may be caught, reports, inspection, transport of fish, and other (additional) conditions as may be specified in the licence or permit.
