Abstract
These Guidelines are issued in accordance with the Section 5 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002.
The Guidelines for international collaborative research projects involve transfer or exchange of biological resources or information relating thereto, between institutions, including government sponsored institutions and such institutions in other countries. The collaborators shall abide by the provisions of existing national laws, regulatory mechanisms and international agreements or treaties. The biological resource(s) and associated knowledge intended to be exchanged or transferred under such projects shall be used only for the research purpose.
