Notification of the Ministry of Rural Development on the limit of extent of land referred to in sub-section (1) of section 46 of the the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (No. 30 of 2013).

This Notification of the Ministry of Rural Development indicates that in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 46 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (No. 30 of 2013), the Central Government, hereby, notifies that the limit of extent of land referred to in sub-section (1) of section 46 of the said Act shall be 20 (twenty) hectares in urban areas and 40 (forty) hectares in rural areas.
