Notification on Species of Plants and Animals which are on the verge of extinction in the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

This Notification is issued in accordance with the Section 38 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002.
The Notification lists out threatened species of Plants and Animals in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands which are on the verge of extinction and prohibits or regulates collection thereof and spells out appropriate steps to rehabilitate and preserve these species.
