Notification specifying areas to be considered coastal areas.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) section 2 of the Coastal Aquaculture Authority Act, the Central Government specifies the area of land within a distance of two kilometres from the High Tide Line (HTL) of seas, rivers, creeks and backwaters to be a coastal area.
