Orissa Pani Panchayat (Amendment) Act, 2008 (Orissa Act 3 of 2009).

This Act amends the Orissa Pani Panchayat Act, 2002 (principal Act). Clause (x) of section 2 of the principal Act is amended. Sub-section (4) of section 3 relating to delineating water users area is amended. In section 4 of the principal Act, sub-section (1) is substituted, and sub-sections (1-a), (1-b) and (2-a) are added. Further, sub-section (6) is substituted and sub-sections (6-a) and (6-b) are added. Section 5 and 7 of the principal Act are omitted and sections 6, 8 and 17 are amended.
