Abstract
These Rules further amend the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 (principal Rules). In Rule 11 of the principal Rules, a new sub-rule 1A is added after sub-rule 1, relating to the information to be provided by the producers, importers and brandowners specified under sub-rule 1. A new rule 19 is added which provides for action for contravention of the Rules by any person.
