Abstract
The Rules provide for the licensing of shoe smiths under the provisions of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (59 of 1960). The shoe smiths must apply for a licence to the Veterinary Department for a period of two years and the licence shall be renewed periodically after the first issuance. Tools and equipment allowed to shoe smiths are listed in the text as the fees to be paid for the licence itself.
