Abstract
These Rules, consisting of 14 articles and two Schedules, regulate all requirements to be satisfied in order to transport animals on foot. In particular, they establish that every animal to be transported on foot must be healthy and in good condition for such transport and shall be issued a certificate of a veterinary doctor prior to the transport. Additionally, the Rules also state that new born animals, or those who are sick, blind, emaciated, lame, fatigued, or have just given birth during the preceding 72 hours or likely to give birth during transport shall not be transported on foot. The Rules lay down the process for transportation and provide further restrictions on transport of animals by foot. Schedules deal with Form for Certificate of welfare for transport of animals.
