Abstract
The Act aims to validate certain appointments of Tehsil Sanitary Inspectors as Food Inspectors for the whole of the State of Haryana excepting railway stations and railway premises. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954, read with rule 8 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Rules, 1955, shall be deemed to have been validly made in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and accordingly: (i) all acts, proceedings or things done or actions taken or which may be done or taken by the said Tehsil Sanitary Inspectors as Food Inspectors and by the State Government or by any Officer of the State Government or by any authority in connection with the appointments of Tehsil Sanitary Inspectors as Food Inspectors for the whole of the State of Haryana excepting railway stations and railway premises shall, for all purposes, be deemed to be, and to have always been done are taken in accordance with law and shall not be called in question before any court of law; (ii) no suit or other proceedings shall be maintained or continued in any court or before any authority for the cancellation of appointments so made; and (iii) no court or authority shall enforce a decree or order directing the cancellation of appointments so made.
