Abstract
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 64 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (Central Act No. 6 of 1974) the State Government, after consultation with the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, makes the following rules to amend the Rajasthan Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1975. After fifth proviso to sub-rule (2) of rule 29 of the Rajasthan Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1975, amended rules provide that for the small scale industries the acknowledgement by the State Board of the receipt of the consent to operate application form must be duly filled up and accompanied by the prescribed fee. Amendments deal in particular with new Fees for: Industries/ Process/ Projects/ Activities other than Mining and Quarrying (Schedule IV); Hospital, Health Care Facility and Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment and Disposal Facility (Part III). The State Board may add to any new industry or process or project or activity to the Appendix A; Appendix B or Appendix C.
