Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Jharkhand Amendment) Act, 2017.

This Act is enacted by the Legislature of the State of Jharkhand to amend the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013) in its application to the State of Jharkhand.
In the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Amendment to Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, in section 2, in sub-section (2), after the second proviso, the Central Act 30 following proviso shall be added, namely :- of 2013 “Provided also that the acquisition of land for the projects listed in Section 10A and the purposes specified therein shall be exempted from the provisions of the first proviso to this sub-section." Other amendment include: insertion of new section 23A.
