Telangana Registration of Horticulture Nurseries (Regulation) Act, 2010 (Act No. 13 of 2010).

This Act provides for the Registration of Horticulture Nurseries in the State of Telangana. ‘Horticulture nursery’ means any place where horticulture plants, including: fruits, vegetables, tubers, spices, condiments, ornamental flowers, medicinal and aromatic and plantation crops are in the regular course of business, propagated and sold for transplantation. No owner of a Horticulture nursery shall, after the expiry of six months from the date of commencement of this Act or from the date on which he becomes owner of such nursery; carry out the business of Horticulture nursery, except under and in accordance with a licence issued by the competent authority. Any owner who desires to obtain a licence shall apply to the competent Authority accompanied by a specified fee and manner.
