Uttar Pradesh Participatory Irrigation Management (First Amendment) Rules, 2014.

In exercise of the powers under section 51 of the Uttar Pradesh Participatory Irrigation Management Act, 2009 (UP Act no. 4 of 2009), these rules aim at amending rules and sub-rules of the Uttar Pradesh Participatory Irrigation Management Rules, 2010. Amendments deal with several provisions of the previous rules and establish new administrative and legal proceedings related to the following matters: Election Officer requirements and necessary actions to be taken; application to be presented by candidates at the election or any elector and shall contain particulars as may be decided by the Divisional Election Officer of Irrigation Department; elections to the members of the managing committee of the Water users' association, etc.
