Abstract
The Act contains provisions on the prohibition and licensing of fishing in selected waters in the State of Uttarakhand. The Act also grants the State government to make rules on the sale of fish; prohibition of fishing in any specified water for specified period; regulate the export of fish, etc. Additionally, the Act provides for penalties for violating the provisions of the Act.
