Agreement between the Caspian Littoral States in the Field of Transport.

Abstract
This Agreement containing one introduction and 12 Articles is ratified among the five littoral countries in Caspian Sea including Azerbaijan Republic, Iran Islamic Republic, Kazakhstan Republic, Russian Federation and Turkmenistan. The Agreement provides for agreement of the state parties for enhancement and development of mutual cooperation for transport of goods and passengers, promotion of economical and commercial relations and using the transit boards among the littoral states in the Caspian Sea. The parties shall perform based on principles of equality and mutual treatment in the field of transport. This Agreement implements agreement on different ways of transport including marine, rail, air, road and multilaterale ways. The Agreement facilitate transport of passengers in regular operations and for marine tourism while the parties are committed to provide security of the passengers and cargos. Implementation of this Agreement shall be advance by regular meetings between Transport Ministries of the state parties. The costs for implementation of this Agreement shall be upheld individually by each state. There is no reserve condition in this Agreement, the Kazakhstan Republic is nominated as trustee and it is concluded for an unlimited time.
