Abstract
The amendment set a timeline for implementing emission standards for domestically produced and imported vehicles, motorcycles, and non-road transport equipment as specified in the attached schedule. The Euro 5 emission standard, including factory-installed particulate filter systems, is conditional on electronic monitoring of filter performance through the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) of the vehicle.
