Abstract
This document defines the criteria for assessing environmental pollution levels in production and industrial units, in line with applicable regulations—such as permissible limits for air emissions, noise pollution, wastewater discharge, and soil contamination. It establishes pollution indicators, outlines applicable pollution charge rates, and specifies methods for calculating these fees. The Cabinet is mandated to submit annual reports detailing how these pollution charges are spent and the resulting impact on pollution reduction or elimination. Furthermore, governmental agencies receiving such charges are required to allocate at least 50% of that toward the development and maintenance of green spaces, expansion of public transportation fleets, waste management, pollution monitoring, and other measures as outlined in Article 8 in light of reduction of pollution. The text consists of 8 Articles.
