The aim is to align the design, implementation, operation, and evaluation phases of water and wastewater projects, avoid duplication, and prevent the waste of financial and non-financial resources. The standards are drafted with input from experts in both public and private sectors, referencing credible sources and international standards. Practical experiences from executing bodies, organizations, industries, and design and construction units are also considered. The process adheres to the principles of Iran’s National Standards Organization and other reputable standard-setting institutions.
