Executive Order on Enforcement of the Bylaws on Creation of Energy and Environment Efficient Market.

This Executive Order is ratified by the High Council of Energy with the purpose of reducing energy consumption raised through different resources including natural gas and power energy and to reducing production of green house gases and emissions by implementing the plans, data assessment, measuring and reporting mechanisms (M&V). The law provides for investment plans for the applicants looking to use the energy saving consuming models and also granting license to the permitted energy producers under this scheme. For protection of the private investors in projects related to efficient use of energy in the market, a committee consisting of representatives of Oil and Energy Ministries, Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Cooperatives and Stock Exchange shall comprise. This Executive Order consists of 27 Articles and is addressed to different Ministries for implementation.
