Executive Regulation for the Law to Protect the Knowledge Base Companies and Institutions and Commercialising the Innovation and Inventions.

The Regulation provides for setting up a working group that will be in charge of identifying the knowledge base companies and their areas of activity. The working group is comprised of representatives of different governmental organisations including the Ministry of Science and Research and the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Commerce. The text applies for grant of financial support to the knowledge base companies besides advantages for tax and duties exemption for development of operation in the science and technology related areas. The last section of the Regulation refers to the possibility of objection on any failure on behalf of responsible authorities for enforcement of this Regulation. The text consists of 33 Articles divided into 9 Sections.
