Law to Assist Solid Waste Sorting with the Participation of the Non-Governmental Sector.

The Law is drafted with the aim for facilitation, encouragement and promotion of investment of the private sector in establishing facilities for energy recovery from solid waste. The text provides for consideration of levies in household bills for waste management. Investment in establishing facilities for waste management and energy recovery is tax exempted. The Law further lays out duties for recycling the waste generated from the imported and produced goods. The text is drafted in 6 Articles.
