Law on Conservation and Protection of Natural Resources and Forest Reserves of the Country.

The Act, which consists of 3 articles, aims to protect and rehabilitate the natural forests and resources. The Acts considers particular species of trees and plants as national forest reserves and prohibits their cutting. In case of necessity, these species may only be cut with permission obtained by the Ministry of Agriculture. Any violation of this Act shall be punished by imprisonment and fine.
