Law on Food, Beverage, Cosmetic and Health Products.

The Act, which consists of 18 Articles, aims to regulate provisions on production and supply of food, beverage, cosmetic and health products.
The Act regulates punishment for violators who supply the counterfeit goods, sell the expired products and do not follow the determined standards for production of food, beverage, cosmetic and health products. If the use of products put consumer’s health at risk, the producer will be punished proportionate to the damages caused. The Ministry of Health is the responsible authority to issue the required permission for activities of companies and factories producing food, beverage, cosmetic and health products.
