Law on Protection and Stabilization of the River Bed and Shoreline of Transboundary Rivers.

The purpose of the Act, which consists of 9 articles, is to regulate provisions regarding protection, stabilization and rehabilitation of trans-boundary rivers. The Ministry of Energy is the responsible authority to follow the regulations of this Act. In order to determine priorities and designate relative guidelines, a Committee should be established under the power of the Ministry of Energy and in close collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defense. Any mapping and aerial photography from trans-boundary rivers should be done only with permission of the Ministry of Defense.
