Abstract
The Maritime Commercial Shipping Agreement between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is concluded with one introduction and 21 Articles. Both contracting states rely on development of mutual relations for marine transport in the Caspian Sea. This Agreement's objectives are programming and facilitation of marine commercial transport based on principles of equality and mutual interest, coordinating for shipping in the Caspian Sea and improving the commercial and economical relations between two sides. The Agreement implements for conditions for using the ports of state parties, providing security and safety in the Caspian Sea for the ships traffic, crew, passengers and cargos, considering the environment of Caspian Sea, and exchanging opinions on operation of international organisations in the field of maritime shipping. The Agreement provides for conditions of treatment with the ships of the other party in the local ports, recognition the identity documents of the crew and possibility for their entrance and transit, technical cooperation, and mutual recognition of the ships documents.
