Abstract
This Plan is prepared by the Board of Ministers for the purpose of implementation of the provision of International Convention on Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co-operation and the Protocol on Preparedness, Response and Co-operation to Pollution Incidents by Hazardous and Noxious Substances. The Plan identifies different governmental ministries and organisations that are in charge of control and prevention of pollution expansion in the seas; and are also in charge for disaster management in case of occurrence of environmental incident. The Plan provides for duties of each organisation in case of occurrence of polluting event including searching and investigation in the pollutant area, monitoring the combating procedures, updating the equipment in each provinces, recording of the evidences with regard to the environmental accident and requesting for help from other countries. The Plan is designed in 19 Articles.
